

On March 16, 2012, the No. 15-seeded Lehigh Mountain Hawks stunned mighty No. 2 Duke in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. It was a victory that put Lehigh basketball in the national spotlight, and helped launch the career of star guard C.J. McCollum. But it was no miracle, and to hear the players say it, it was no upset, either.
Several employees share their stories of when and why they decided to make a change that impacted their careers at B. Braun and their personal lives. Some were motivated by a desire to continue their education, others by the prospect of opening new pathways to success. Their stories may differ but they share the experience of having benefited from being at a company that supports their goals and ambitions.
We’re a car family. Always have been. We love being around them. I’ve wanted to make a short video of my dad’s 69 Road Runner all summer. As always, life gets in the way but we were able to get one last ride in before winter. This ended up being my dad’s last ride in his car. Not long after, the COVID-19 pandemic happened. My father contracted and passed away from the virus early on. We almost didn’t film this video and I’m so happy we did.

The Lehigh University Mountain Hawks defeated the Lafayette College Leopards, 34-3, during the 154th Rivalry Game at Fisher Stadium in on November 17th, 2018. Lehigh has won four straight rivalry contests and nine out of the last 11. Mountain Hawks running back Dominick Bragalone earned MVP honors with 95 yards rushing and three touchdowns.

In early August 2019, 23 Global Social Impact Fellows arrived in Sierra Leone to conduct field work on projects designed to fight hunger and disease and increase global awareness of health crises. While their research and projects varied, the Lehigh students had a shared goal—sustainable impact.
t began in May of 2016 when the portrait of Lehigh University founder, Asa Packer, was taken down from the Asa Packer Dining Room in the University Center. It hung above patrons for over 40 years. The painting was sent to Hartmann Fine Art Conservation in Carlisle, PA., where it underwent a deep cleaning and restoration. In October 2017, the painting returned home to Lehigh.
With her commitment to deliver safe and consistent care for vascular access, Executive Director of Nursing Excellence Karen Lindell, DNP, RN says partnering with B. Braun on the Peripheral Advantage® Program was the right call. Lindell says her facility saw improvements in PIVC first-stick success, patient satisfaction, access knowledge and dwell times. She credits the program’s inclusion of data, analytics and support.

The Lehigh University Baja team is a student run organization that designs, manufactures, and races a single seat off-road vehicle. Members’ commitment to the team verges on addiction, spending countless hours in the lab working on the vehicle. This year, the team competed in Baja SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) sponsored events in Kansas and Illinois. During the events, universities from around the world compete against one another.
